For universal adhesive tape application in pitched roof areas, we offer a high-quality system adhesive tape that can be used for sealing in the overlap area as well as for penetrations of pipes or cables.

The sealing adhesive tape is equipped with a high-quality, flexible and yet very stable carrier film, which, due to its UV resistance, can also be exposed to direct sunlight for longer periods without any problems. In outdoor areas, underlays in the overlap area as well as connections at penetrations can be sealed windproof.

In the interior, the adhesive tape is suitable for overlapping vapor control layers and penetrations. In combination with the carrier film, the high-quality adhesive guarantees secure and long-lasting bonds even with large temperature fluctuations.

Sealing adhesive tape for low processing temperatures

ArcticTape was developed to carry out insulation work on pitched roofs even at very low temperatures. It can already be processed without problems at -20 °C (-4 °F) and is resistant to cold up to -30 °C (-22 °F).

The excellent adhesion of the special adhesive is maintained even at sub-zero temperatures, so that a secure bond with the surfaces to be bonded can take place. The flexible carrier film can be used to bond roofing membranes in the overlap area as well as for connections where pipes or beams penetrate, for example.

This makes ArcticTape a flexible system adhesive tape with a wide range of applications and, because it can be applied at very low temperatures, it is particularly suitable for predominantly colder regions.

PP spunbond adhesive tape for roofing membranes

Ideal for PP spunbonded underlays is the 98621//RT with PP spunbonded carrier and powerful polyacrylate adhesive. Due to its stability, it can be easily glued over long, overlapping webs.

The carrier material is slip-resistant due to the gridded surface structure, as is the roofing membrane itself. Draining rainwater rolls off despite the grids.

A further advantage: the spunbonded adhesive tape can be plastered over and can also be used, for example, for connecting to solid masonry. A high resistance to alternating climate and heat make the adhesive tape a robust sealing product for pitched roofs.

Overlapping roofing membranes made of PP spunbonded fabric are joined by adhesive tape to make them windproof. The anti-slip surface is not interrupted by the robust tape. The relatively stiff carrier can be easily bonded over long roofing membranes.

Diffusion-open Tyvek® adhesive tape

Tyvek® is a diffusion-open HDPE fleece and is used, for example, as a carrier material for adhesive tapes for sealing pitched roofs. Our Tyvek® adhesive tape is characterised in particular by high UV and heat resistance.

The HDPE fleece is often used for roofing, underlay and facade membranes. Ideally, their overlaps are sealed with an adhesive tape whose carrier has the same material base.

The combination of high-quality, heat-resistant and durable 3F adhesives with UV and heat-resistant HDPE fleece results in an energetic high-performance adhesive tape that reliably seals overlapping roofing membranes and joints both indoors and outdoors.
